Can we use homeopathic and allopathic cream
To Autohemotherapy some blood is drawn from a vein in the body and then injected back into the body, for example into a muscle or under the skin. Sometimes the blood is also taken orally. The blood can be treated by various methods before it is returned. B. homeopathic remedies or distilled water are buried. Autologous blood therapy is used for practically all complaints, mostly in conjunction with other procedures. The concept is partly plausible as it can be shown that every injection stimulates the immune system. At least in the treatment of neurodermatitis, a specific effect has also been scientifically proven. It is unknown whether other conditions will respond to treatment. Sometimes the blood drawn is exposed to UV or short-wave radiation or to treatment with oxygen or ozone. Because of its germicidal effect, the very reactive ozone gas (O3) is used to disinfect drinking water. In alternative medicine, ozone is said to improve blood circulation in the finest body vessels, stimulate the oxygen supply to the tissues and stimulate the immune system. The proponents rely on a multitude of explanations according to which ozone makes the red blood cells more lubricious in the body. The ozone is brought to the patient in very different ways. B. injected under the skin, introduced into body orifices (e.g. the anus) with the help of a catheter or drunk as "ozonated" water. A specific effect against diseases has not been scientifically proven.
When a cold starts, the upper respiratory tract is affected. The nasal mucous membrane becomes inflamed and secretes secretions, the pharyngeal mucous membrane is
reddened to death. General symptoms such as fatigue and headaches round off the symptoms of the common cold. If the infection spreads to the mucous membranes of the lower respiratory tract, a dry cough may develop, triggered by inflammation of the lining of the larynx, windpipe or bronchi. At the beginning of a cold, a dry, tickly cough can occur through the inflamed mucous membranes of the bronchi. In this case, Husteel relieves the urge to cough. How do the ingredients of Husteel work? Husteel is a homeopathic complex remedy and is used for coughs, e.g. caused by bronchitis or as a result of colds. This means that various natural ingredients are combined in such a way that they complement each other in their effects. According to the homeopathic drug pictures, Urginea maritima and Arsenum jodatum relieve symptoms of colds and colds. Atropa belladonna and Causticum Hahnemanni support the body in healing the inflamed mucous membranes, especially when the airways are affected. If a convulsive cough has developed, Cuprum aceticum can help relax the bronchial muscles according to the homeopathic remedy. How can you help alleviate and heal the symptoms? Take time to relax. Often times, the body needs a few days of bed rest to get well. If symptoms persist or if you have a fever above 38 ° C, please consult a doctor to clarify the causes!
If the blood flow to the inner ear is disturbed, the information of the organ of equilibrium is disturbed and with that of the eye, muscle or joint receptors
no longer compatible. Then the brain issues a message that we call vertigo. This is the application area of Vertigoheel: gray Ambergris: if you are completely overworked you can no longer calm down and you are under internal tension. Headaches with dizziness and great weakness arise. Anamirta Cocculus: is one of the best homeopathic remedies for motion sickness. First headache, then nausea with dizziness, which can lead to vomiting. There is a feeling of oppressive emptiness throughout the body.
Conium maculatum: The main topic is the hardening of the tissue, glands and lymph nodes. Headaches can be accompanied by a feeling of dizziness, which occurs particularly when lying down. Every movement, no matter how small, triggers dizziness and nausea.
Petroleum rectificatum: is particularly suitable for travel as it is used for nausea, vomiting and dizziness caused by movement. It is also indicated for stomach problems in pregnant women, diarrhea that only occurs during the day and nausea caused by hunger. According to research, the effect of Vertigoheel is based on two effects: it influences the signaling pathways of smooth muscle cells and takes care of the relaxation of the vascular walls in a biochemical way, which leads to an improved blood flow in the small vessels. And the brainstem functions improve in vertigo patients with therapy with Vertigoheel. One tablet is allowed to dissolve in the mouth three times a day. In acute cases, this can be increased to 1 tablet per hour.
Engystol is a homeopathic medicine for colds and flu-like infections. One tablet contains: Vincetoxicum Hirundinaria and Sulfur triturations in various low potencies. In earlier times the dehydrating and detoxifying effects of Vincetoxicum were valued. It was therefore used as a wound remedy as well as against bites from poisonous animals. Vincetoxicum found its way into homeopathy, where it was used for diabetes. The seeds seem to have a strengthening effect on the heart, as several researchers have confirmed. Viral infections and especially their toxic loads are successfully treated with Vincetoxicum. It also works in all febrile reaction phases that weaken the organism and its defensive function. The discharge of poison is promoted. It has a straightening effect on mental exhaustion as a result of protracted, mainly virus-related illnesses and the associated phases of weakness. The sulfur is used for chronic catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, sleep disorders and also for pneumonia and pleurisy. In the acute stage, 1 tablet is allowed to dissolve under the tongue every hour, but only up to 6 tablets per day. When the acute phase is over, the dose is reduced to three times a day. For children over 6 years of age, dissolve 1 tablet in 75 ccm of water and give 50 cc instead of 1 tablet. For children under 6 years of age, the dose is reduced to ½ tablet instead of one. Due to a lack of experience, Engystol should not be used in children under 1 year of age. It is the same during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may only be used after consulting a doctor.
Does homeopathy work? “Although homeopathy has not been able to prove that it works for decades, it is protected by politics and universities. Scientists are calling for this special status to be finally ended. For rational people, homeopathy is actually an intellectual insult. There are balls, drops and tinctures administered, which hardly contain any active substance. After various shaking rituals and dilution steps, at some point no more molecule can be detected. But that doesn't harm the recipe, on the contrary. Only then does it come to full development, and the remedy becomes all the more potent. The people have been fooled by this magical pattern for more than 200 years, ”writes Werner Bartens about a study published in December on the effectiveness of homeopathy. From a scientific point of view he is not wrong and that there are homeopathic miracle healers who make dubious promises is also correct. In our opinion, however, it makes perfect sense to have a “traditional European” medicine with historical roots, as a counter-model or supplement to the Eastern methods. Homeopathy has had many successes, but they are admittedly not very predictable. However, allopathy is also an empirical science that does not always respond much more reliably than a placebo and the side effects are sometimes kept under the roof from a marketing perspective (e.g. only in the recent scandal about the new hormonal contraceptives). This reduces trust in conventional medicine. That is why alternative healing methods make perfect sense.
Homeopathic dizziness: Eyes, equilibrium organs and receptors in muscles and joints constantly provide information about the respective body position to the brain, where it is combined to form a spatial and movement image. When the information is contradicting itself or cannot be processed properly, the brain issues a message that we perceive as dizziness. This is the application area of Vertigoheel. The ingredients that are combined here:
Gray ambergris: when you are completely overworked, you can no longer calm down and you are under internal tension. Headaches with dizziness and great weakness arise.
Anamirta Cocculus: is one of the best homeopathic remedies for motion sickness. First headache, then nausea with dizziness, which can lead to vomiting. There is a feeling of oppressive emptiness in the whole body. Conium maculatum: The main topic is the hardening of the tissue, the glands and lymph nodes.
For headaches, which arise from nervous disorders and can manifest themselves in overload and exhaustion, Spigelon -Heel tablets have combined various homeopathic ingredients in such a way that they complement each other in their drug picture and apply to different headache symptoms. Spigelia anthelmia has proven itself in homeopathic dosage for migraines and headaches, especially when it occurs in the back of the head and pulls itself to the temple on the left side. The pain is often accompanied by neuralgic symptoms. It is supplemented by Atropa belladonna in its painful effects for headaches in the context of inflammation of the respiratory tract. Gelsemium sempervirens has a positive effect on migraines, headache and neck pain, nervous disorders and general exhaustion, also in connection with a cold. If there is also an irritable upset, sodium carbonicum is indicated, and if upset with neuralgic pain, Thuja occidentalis is indicated. Bryonia's homeopathic remedy picture indicates headache in the forehead. It is more of a stabbing pain that worsens even with little movement and where you want to press your head, while Melilotus officinalis is more likely to be used for pressure above the eye sockets and throbbing carotid artery. Especially if the headache improves quickly as soon as a nosebleed occurs. If the symptoms are after mental exhaustion, acidum silicicum in homeopathic doses can help to get over the state of exhaustion.
In one homeopathic combination remedies several homeopathic single remedies are combined. It is hoped that by combining several individual remedies with similar symptom-relieving effects, the time-consuming search for exactly the same remedy picture (simile search) will be greatly shortened. In the case of colds, this is the case with the drug Gripp-Heel. The ingredient aconite is mainly used for febrile, acute inflammation of the mucous membranes. It is characterized by a sudden, stormy beginning, usually triggered by a sharp, cold wind. Eupatorium perfoliatum is used for fever with aching limbs and hoarseness. The decisive factor is the character of the pain in the limbs! In the morning and with exercise and fresh air, the symptoms worsen, at home they are better. You are thirsty for cold water. Lachesis is used for headaches, chills, sore throats, and inflammation of the mucous membranes when the disease is accompanied by poor circulation. Bryonia complements the range of effects of Gripp-Heel. The cough is painful and the patient wants to have his / her rest, because even the smallest movement worsens the condition. Affected people press on the sternum when coughing to relieve the pain. If there are signs of exhaustion, Phosphorus is supportive. It has proven effective for inflammation of the larynx. Hot food and noise make it worse, while fresh air and cold improve the condition. Gripp-Heel contains the medicines in low potency. In this way you can rule out side effects such as initial aggravation and examination symptoms and trust that one of the drugs will show an effect even if the simile diagnosis is possibly inaccurate.
pain not all pain is the same, which is why a suitable homeopathic remedy must be selected depending on the individual characteristics of the symptoms. The following selection describes medicines that are often used for joint problems, also in addition to conventional medicines. If you have chronic complaints, you should seek professional help. With Apis mellifica, the inflammation and severe swelling are the focus of the symptoms, the joint feels hot, and cold applications relieve it. If the area turns very red and a strong throbbing pain dominates, Belladonna should be the right remedy. It is characteristic of Bryonia that the pain worsens with every movement, and the person concerned does not want to move the diseased joint under any circumstances. Firm bandaging or strong pressure alleviate the discomfort. Rhus toxicodendron is for symptoms caused by overexertion or by cold, damp weather. After a break, at the beginning of the movement, pain is significantly increased and gets better with increasing movement. Warm to hot applications are pleasant and soothing. Both Rhus toxicodendron and Bryonia are also effective in treating inflammation (or injury) of tendons or tendon sheaths. Especially for hand and wrist complaints, guaiacum is: Hand or fingers usually feel stiff, as if too tight or constricted, as if muscles or tendons are too short. If an operation is not yet necessary in the case of a carpal tunnel syndrome or Dupuytren's contracture (shrinkage of the tendons leading to the fingers in the area of the palm), an attempt at treatment with guaiacum can be undertaken.
To travel: "Travel sickness" (motion sickness), trips on land, on water or flying can cause severe discomfort. Cocculus: Nausea and vomiting are accompanied by dizziness, it forces you to lie down and worsens when you stand up. Tabacum: if, on the other hand, severe nausea is at the center of the complaints (“miserable to die”), accompanied by pallor and cold sweat, somewhat relieved in the fresh air, please think of Tabacum. Arsenicum album is most often indicated for diarrhea when traveling: acute, watery, vomiting diarrhea that irritates the anus. The smell is foul-like. The symptoms are typically triggered by eating cold food or drinks. The triggers are spoiled or cold food. Often weakness and freezing are companions. Veratrum album: Diarrhea and vomiting occur at the same time, but are very severe and also debilitating. A tendency to circulatory collapse accompanies the complaints. Phosphorus: if the diarrhea occurs shortly after eating, those affected ask for cold food and sometimes even ice-cold water. If the diarrhea occurs hours after eating, this indicates Pulsatilla. The complaints are caused by fatty, creamy dishes, ice cream or fatty meat. If the focus is on fullness, swelling and flatulence, the intake of Lycopodium can be considered. Further information: significant deterioration in the afternoon, annoying tightness in the stomach, and desire for warm food and drinks. Danger! If the illness persists, a doctor should be consulted, as the loss of fluids and minerals can damage the heart and circulation. Especially with children!
Sunburn: "Prevention" through consistent sun protection, e.g. avoiding the midday sun, protective clothing, is better than "healing". If you have sunburn, the skin is red, hot and burning, typically pulsating, throbbing headache, then the most important remedy is called Belladonna. Vibrations (coughing, hopping, etc.) worsen the condition. However, if burn blisters form and fill with liquid, Cantharis is indicated. Since the remedies relate to the symptom picture, the cause is irrelevant. Insect bites are rarely real allergic reactions.A pronounced swelling develops, the skin feels hot and cooling provides relief: here the appropriate remedy is called Apis mellifica. At first you take 3-5 globules every hour. In the event of a real allergic reaction with swelling in the mouth and throat or impaired breathing, you should see a doctor immediately! Herpes: Our immune system usually controls the herpes viruses. If the immune defense is weakened, e.g. by the sun, it can lead to an outbreak - sometimes very stressful in the acute stage. The most important homeopathic medicine in this case is sodium chloratum. Characteristic vesicles develop, the surrounding skin is rather dry. However, if there are many small, dense vesicles on reddened skin, which increasingly swell and fill with fluid, Rhus toxicodendron is more likely to be considered. The disease is accompanied by severe itching. If pus forms in an advanced stage, the lips are swollen, the tongue is coated and the lymph nodes may also be swollen, you switch to Mercurius solubilis. Thuja, the tree of life is a cypress plant. The individual species give off their own, very distinctive scent. The western arborvitae (thuja occidentalis), which can often be found as a hedge in Germany, forms a highly poisonous oil on wood, cones and twig tips that can cause skin irritation on contact and be fatal if consumed. These twig tips are collected for homeopathic medicines before the spring bloom and processed into tincture. Thuja is mainly used against dermatological complaints such as (fig) warts, eczema, papules or nodules, as well as with carious tooth roots. Due to the irritating effect of its essential oils and the toxin thujin, it is mainly external and in very low potency. Thuja patients have very thickened veins on the back of the hand, temples and tongue. Skin rashes are mostly only on covered parts of the body. The area between the wings of the nose and the cheeks is often inflamed. If the scalp is flaky, the hair is dry and brittle. In principle, we do not recommend self-medication for Thuja. Thuja tincture can cause skin irritation in overly sensitive people. During treatment, care must be taken to apply the tincture selectively to diseased areas of the skin. Sensitive patients can develop symptoms of the drug picture under administration of thuja, which can become chronic ("Thuja disease"). The original substance is said to have a pregnancy-interrupting effect. Globules should therefore only be taken in consultation with a homeopath, especially in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Homeopathy in infants: Self-treatment with homeopathic medicines should be reserved for an experienced homeopathic therapist in the case of chronic complaints. In the case of small children, it must always be kept in mind when a doctor must be called in! Arnica montana is the most important remedy for bruises caused by bruises or bruises after childbirth. Its healing effect is always striking. The bruises fade quickly and injuries heal without complications. Because of its good effect in the event of a concussion, there is almost no alternative to arnica, even later, when the little ones fall from the changing table or later while playing. If, after the umbilical cord has fallen off, the newborn develops an inflammation of the belly button that cannot be overcome, Silicea is almost always suitable. Usually a non-purulent liquid is secreted, and wild flesh begins to proliferate. Other smoldering or recurring inflammations, such as non-healing deep-seated boils or painful nail-bed infections, can be well influenced by Silicea. If tear fluid does not flow well through a constriction in the area of the draining tear ducts, this can lead to smoldering inflammation of the conjunctiva, often alternating with acute phases of inflammation. Here too, Silicea can be the appropriate medicine. In acute inflammation of the conjunctiva, when the tears flow freely, the eye is reddened and sensitive to light, Euphrasia (eyebright) quickly leads to an improvement. If the eyes also emit a yellowish or greenish mucus that often sticks the songs together in the morning, we think of Pulsatilla.
Urtica urens (nettle) Monoecious plant with stinging hairs. Leaves opposite, ovate, incised, serrate, wedge-shaped at the base. It occurs in nitrogen-rich soils in settlements and is now widespread almost all over the world. The basic position of the drug production is the fresh, whole plant at the flowering time. The main symptoms for homeopathy: The nettle produces stinging, burning or stabbing pains. In healthy people, it triggers acute hives (with red, raised spots = wheals). That is why it is used in acute hives (e.g. after eating shellfish and crustaceans). But be careful: if you suspect renal colic or if you have severe urticaria (hives), you should consult a doctor. Urtica acts on the mammary glands and the genitourinary tract, but also on allergic skin reactions and first-degree burns. Urtica promotes excretion / drainage and has a regulating effect on breast milk flow. For hay fever, a combination of three homeopathic drugs has been found in the Hay fever medium (DHU) proven: Luffa operculata, (Sponge cucumber): helps with acute, chronic and allergic rhinitis, nasal congestion, crust formation and dryness of the throat, throat and tongue. Galphimia glauca (little golden rain): is proven against allergic mucosal diseases and year-round allergic rhinitis with sneezing attacks, itching, tingling and burning of the nasal mucosa. Cardiospermum halicacabum (Heart seeds): against inflammatory-allergic diseases of the respiratory tract, allergic hay fever and severe itching.
During pregnancy The selection of a suitable homeopathic medicinal potency is more important than usual. With high potencies (from D30) initial reactions could occur and, as with very low potencies (below D6), cause undesirable symptoms similar to a drug test. But also toxic or allergic symptoms, because here we can come into the area of allopathic dosages. The potency D 12 has proven itself as a gentle, "fault-tolerant" medicinal strength in the context of self-medication. Nux vomica when feeling full after eating (stone in the stomach), choking in the hope, vomiting relieves, pronounced deterioration in the morning, irritability. Nux vomica also helps with constipation with frequent urge to stool, which is particularly agonizing in the morning. Sepia: Emptiness in the stomach without improvement through eating, even the smell of food can trigger disgust, nausea and vomiting, accompanying irritation of the genital region. Sepia also helps with constipation when the stool is actually soft. Tabacum: Sudden, violent nausea, violent vomiting with improvement in the fresh air and from exposure of the abdomen, deterioration from discontinuing clothing - dizziness, cold sweat and great paleness. Gelsemium works well for stage fright. So when the birth approaches and many fears rob you of sleep, this medicine can develop its calming effect. But if it is the joyful expectation, so to speak overexcitation, this suggests Coffea. If it is more the fear of being overwhelmed, which escalates into grief and tears, think of Pulsatilla. With Pulsatilla, a child has often turned from the breech position shortly before birth. In this case, a higher potency may also be used.
Dosage of homeopathic globules: In the case of homeopathic treatment, it is particularly important that the drug picture of the drug fits. The diagnosis alone is not enough, because the personal symptoms of the illness must be as similar as possible to the selected remedy. After taking a suitable homeopathic remedy, an improvement should occur quickly. When the symptoms have completely subsided, the intake is stopped. If a tendency to improvement is not recognizable within a short period of time in the case of acute health disorders, the homeopathic was wrongly chosen. The potency of the homeopathic medicine depends on the reliability of the diagnosis. The more certain the diagnosis and assignment of the drug picture, the higher the potency that can be selected. If your symptoms change significantly in the course of the disease, it may also be that a new remedy has to be chosen. The homeopathic potency D6 or D12 has proven itself particularly for the independent use of homeopathic medicines in acute health disorders. A so-called initial reaction, the brief intensification of the symptoms at the beginning of the treatment, is at best minor in these cases. The frequency of use depends on the degree of the complaint. The following principle applies: the more acute - the more frequently, as the improvement increases, the frequency of receipts can be reduced. The simplest is the following scheme: For very acute complaints, the following applies: on the first day, children and adults alike allow 3 - 5 globules, 5-10 drops or ½ - 1 tablet to dissolve in the mouth every hour, then 2 - 4 times a day. For moderately acute complaints: 2 - 4 times a day.
Sodium chloratum: The picture here is characterized by deep sadness and long-lasting grief. These feelings can be triggered by offense, rejection, or the loss of loved ones (or pets). Those affected withdraw, build a protective mental wall around themselves in order to avoid further pain. It is very easy to feel insulted, to feel neglected or insulted. The need develops to protect the personal sphere (children withdraw to their room, do not go to the toilet at school, etc.). Those affected are introverted; if they interfere in their own lives or if they are given consolation, angry defenses arise. One cannot forget the offense suffered. On this basis, the other characteristic symptoms of the remedy can be understood: craving for salty food, great need to be alone, deterioration from the sun, heat and the sea. The mouth can be very dry, the lips cracked, and angular angular disease develops. Headaches that are perceived as pounding (worse from reading and in the sun), the appearance of sleep disorders and recurrent herpes outbreaks are typical.
Demarcation: Staphisagria - people have a very amiable demeanor, swallow anger and humiliation and avoid confrontations.
Acidum phosphoricum - as a trigger usually the disappointment of a deep love.
Ipecacuanha: The focus is on causing severe and persistent nausea, accompanied by gagging and vomiting. Nothing can alleviate nausea - you won't feel better even after vomiting! The combination of nausea and vomiting with a tendency to bleed is also typical. There is no coating on the tongue and a feeling of weakness is very noticeable. The irritation of the digestive tract and respiratory tract mucous membranes leads to excessive secretion. The result is copious amounts of bronchial mucus. Ipecacuanha has proven itself in bronchitis and whooping cough, where the rattling cough accompanied by nausea, choking and vomiting is characteristic. The mucus in the airways seems to have dissolved - but it cannot be coughed up. Children in particular suffer from convulsive coughing attacks. Nausea in the first months of pregnancy (emesis gravidarum) is a typical indication for ipecacuanha (differentiated from: Nux vomica, Pulsatilla, Sepia or Tabacum), as well as menstrual disorders and bleeding during or after delivery. However, persistent nausea remains the focus of attention as the main complaint. If you feel dying with severe nausea, Aethusa, Lobelia and especially Tabacum can also be considered in addition to Ipecacuanha. If the patient is not feeling better after vomiting, Ipecacuanha is the first choice.
Graphites At first, graphite was thought to be lead ore and the pen was called “pencil”. It leaves gray deposits on rough surfaces due to abrasion. The name "Grafit" comes from the Greek "graphein" and means to write. Application: The relationship of the drug to the skin is at the center of acute, organ-related use. In the case of slowly growing sebum cysts, treatment with graphites is usually indicated first. Only when these become infected can other medicines such as Belladonna, Hepar sulfuris or Sulfur come into consideration. If the nails are changed by adhesions or nail fungus, Graphites is indicated if the nails are brittle, brittle, thickened or peel off. You have to demarcate against Silicea if the nails tear or split. Graphites can also be considered if bulging scars form after an injury or surgery. A particularly common indication for graphites is acute inflammatory changes in chronic eczema. Characteristic is the development of coarse, clumsy crusts from which thick, yellow, often smelly secretion oozes out. The combination with cracks and fissures in different parts of the body is also typical. Eczema behind the ears, which more or less show the changes mentioned, particularly indicate graphites. Many of the changes that Graphites are eligible for can be described as chunky, thick, and / or hard.
Pulsatilla, the Pasque Flower, may be indecisive for people who tend to be gentle and yielding. You are affectionate, flexible, happy, but also conflict-averse. It is typical, for example, that the mood changes quickly, from "cheering sky high" to "saddened to death" a short time later. These people have a positive charisma, they are affectionate, show compassion and are tolerant. They are vulnerable if not given enough attention. Often health complaints are also caused by it. They whine or cry to signal to those around them that they need attention. This can lead to physical problems such as back pain or headaches. Concomitant joint complaints with a feeling of heat, wandering and changing complaints are also very characteristic. Areas of application are: respiratory problems with a runny or blocked nose, or convulsive cough in the evening, which is triggered by lying down. Flu combined with fever and chills, plus lack of thirst and earache. Eye infections with sensitivity to light also occur. The yellowish-green mucus that occurs in each case is characteristic. The symptoms worsen, among other things. by lying on the left side, by eating fatty foods, by being in heat and staying in overheated rooms. An improvement in the complaints comes among other things. through cold drinks, cold food, cold in general, through gentle movement, especially outdoors.
Phytolacca, pokeweed, is not well known and could be used more often, e.g. for sore throats, painful diseases of the tendons and bursae and of course for inflammation of the mammary gland (mastitis) in breastfeeding mothers. In this disease, the drug has often proven its ability to heal quickly. The chest is very sensitive, painful lumps form and the pain has the property of radiating to the whole body. Phytolacca should be the right medicine, especially if these complaints are related to a cold, emotional excitement or grief. By the way, the choice of the appropriate potency has nothing to do with the intensity of the symptoms (excessive milk flow or not). Hahnemann's principle of similarity means that the remedy has a regulating effect. The choice of potency plays a subordinate role. The principle of similarity is decisive. Then the body will take the path of healing from being “sick”, because this means the least amount of energy required. With the diseases of tendons and bursae, the effect of Phytolacca stands between the more well-known remedies Bryonia and Rhus toxicodendron. Damp and cold weather has a worsening influence (Rhus tox.), But further movement worsens (Bryonia). Sore throats are a proven indication. The mucous membrane is dark red with gray or white coatings. One has burning pain at the root of the tongue that radiates to the ears. (According to Dr. M. Berger, homeopathy today)
Calendulaofficinalis, the marigold, botanically belongs to the sunflower family. The Bergwohlverleih (arnica) and the daisy (Bellis perennis) from the same family are also similar in effect. The marigold, with its beautiful pale yellow, also red-yellow to orange-colored flowers, blooms from June to late autumn and has therefore established itself as a bedding plant in a variety of ways. Perhaps this is where the name calendula comes from: the Latin term calendae denotes the first day of the month on which interest is due - an indication of the plant's long flowering period? The inwardly curved seeds develop from the marginal flowers, which gave the plant our German name marigold. The flowers and young leaves of calendula are non-toxic and have been used to color various foods (e.g.Cheese, butter). The "homeopathic disinfectant" calendula is an excellent remedy for injuries, more precisely for irregularly limited tissue destruction and for wounds with "loss of substance": Abrasions, tears, frayed, tattered cuts and bruises, gaping wounds that heal poorly. Often there is a greasy wound covering on the injury. Calendula can prevent inflammation of the injury and it promotes deep healing (stimulation of granulation). Dr. Berger advises in homeopathy-today to support the homeopathic treatment externally in the form of ointments or tinctures.
Okoubaka is a West African tree that plays a role as a detoxifier. As a semi-parasite, the tree, which is up to 30 m high, draws water and nutrients from other plants; it protects its own inflorescences with 15 cm long spines. The dried astride is used for the production of homeopathic medicines. The substance has so far been little tested, but is now widely used, mainly for complaints in the gastrointestinal tract. Because of its areas of application, digestive disorders caused by acute food poisoning (spoiled food) or changed eating habits, it is often taken on trips. It can be used for food allergies or drug abuse. But also fatigue, vomiting, hair loss, cradle cap and food allergies as well as nausea are proven areas of application. If poisoning is suspected, however, a doctor should be consulted, and possibly even an emergency doctor should be called. It is typical that tobacco consumption worsens the condition. But if you don't eat any more food, the symptoms improve. The tongue has a yellowish white coating, the mouth is dry, you have a sticky taste and you have to burp. After eating, you can feel itching on your lips and palate. In case of complaints, it is recommended to take three Okuobaka globules with a potency of D2 four times a day.
Lycopodium: The bear moss is often indicated for acute and chronic illnesses. The most diverse complaints of the abdominal organs, liver, gall bladder and portal vein system are the focus of its effect. But also a lack of self-esteem, tiredness after eating, a feeling of fullness or a pronounced tendency to flatulence. The tendency to weakness exists in the drug picture of Lycopodium both mentally and physically. Children get angry quickly, they behave bossy and rude towards their parents. You would like to make a good impression and attract attention through know-it-all or slapstick. In the afternoon, from onions and flatulent foods, deterioration occurs, tight clothing is impaired. There is a large appetite or cravings for sweet foods, but just a few bites worsen the (abdominal) symptoms. The illnesses are accompanied by great sensitivity to cold and those affected crave hot food and drinks. At the same time there is a need for fresh air. Lycopodium is used especially for acute and chronic liver diseases, for long-term newborn jaundice, for constipation and for abdominal cramps in the first months of life (three-month colic). Gastrointestinal complaints, for example as part of an infection. Irritable bowel-like functional complaints of the abdomen, if these are accompanied by a feeling of fullness, swelling and flatulence, make us think of Lycopodium.
Drosera rotundifolia The round-leaved sundew is found in Asian, North American and European moors. It is a carnivorous plant that also feeds on insects that it traps. The fresh, flowering plant is used homeopathically for production and is used for pain, cough and hoarseness. A particularly typical symptom is a strong, convulsive cough and nosebleeds. It occurs in attacks, especially at night, after lying down. It is made worse by warm drinks or by warmth itself, an improvement can be found, for example, by fresh air, for example by opening the window. The affected person is hardly exhausted despite a strong cough. The urge to cough is triggered in the larynx, which is felt like dust or like the tickling of a feather and which makes the person concerned almost despair. They hold their chest when they have a coughing fit. This is hoarse and dry, like whooping cough, which Drosera goes well with. The drug Drosera is also effective for complaints with the larynx and hoarseness, for example with singers or speakers. It is typical that there is a deep voice when the larynx is complained. It is important to note that Drosera should only be given a maximum of two times, as otherwise there may be a strong reaction that greatly aggravates the symptoms. The drug picture of Drosera fits people with a certain restlessness, lack of concentration, who sometimes also suffer from depressive moods.
Cimicifuga Black cohosh, also known as bug herb, is native to eastern North America and was already a popular remedy for American Indian tribes. Cimicifuga was a popular remedy. The focus is on gynecological complaints, noticeable changes in mood, with a tendency to strong vegetative reactions, but also pain in the musculoskeletal system, often with extreme stiffness and pain in the neck area. The symptoms are then primarily classified as cervical spine syndrome. Cimicifuga is an important medicine for menstrual problems, when standing still during childbirth, after childbirth and during menopause. Gynecological complaints usually get worse during the menstrual period, with increasing bleeding. Cold, damp weather and drafts can trigger or even increase the symptoms. The variability of symptoms and complaints makes us think of Cimicifuga in various wandering pain syndromes such as fibromyalgia and the "rheumatic" diseases of soft tissues. Often, this is accompanied by a change in mood. Patients are emotionally aroused, restless, they talk a lot, and the flow of thoughts is erratic. Functional, “nervous” pain conditions develop, especially the abdomen and head (migraine-like headache). It is important to distinguish it from Caulophyllum (no neck stiffness), Lachesis (large mood swings), Ignatia (drying up of the milk flow). In the case of pain symptoms, also to Rhus toxicodendron (increase in discomfort at rest, constant urge to move).
Gelsemium, the yellow jasmine gives off a heavy, beguiling smell. The central nervous system is particularly affected by its effects - especially when you are exhausted and extremely weak. The body is perceived as "heavy", as if loaded with weights. The muscles seem to no longer obey the will, the slightest effort causes the limbs to tremble. Gelsemium is used for stage fright and anticipation tension. It is a primary remedy for aggravation due to the anticipation of an upcoming event, e.g. before exams or public appearances, including giving birth. It is characterized by extreme exhaustion, weakness and the described inability to focus one's thoughts. The same applies to "flu-like" infections with tremors, especially of the lower extremities, as a result of any exertion. The whole body feels heavy, as if the legs are loaded with weights. The head seems to be filled with cotton wool, thinking is difficult. A clear thought is hard to grasp. The eyes also feel heavy and tired. However, a distinction must be made from Eupatorium, when the pain feels deep, like broken bones. And against Bryonia, where the mucous membranes are very dry and the cough is excruciating and painful. Even if the plant is mostly used in autumn and winter, it can still be indicated in the event of a "summer flu".
Silicea: From a chemical point of view, Silicea terra is a quartz, a combination of silicon and oxygen. After oxygen, silicon is the second most abundant element in the earth's crust. General direction of action: The tendency to protracted and recurring inflammation is the focus. The organism lacks the vitality to bring an inflammatory process to an end. He creates relief through the development of fistulas, the formation of "nodular" tissue processes (granulomas are an attempt to encapsulate an inflammation) or excessive tissue formation (hypergranulation, "wild meat") are the result. Silicea has a positive effect on the (re) building of the mineralized supporting organs (bones, teeth), hair and nails, even after injuries. As a constitutional remedy, Silicea is used in shy, indecisive, usually very orderly and conscientious patients. It is the medicine for the treatment of fistulas, inflammation of the nail bed with a creeping, protracted course when thin, watery secretions appear and nails have grown in. Silicea is also indicated for stye with a rather lengthy course and hard knots in the lid. It has proven to be very effective when the healing of a wound is severely delayed, "wild flesh" proliferates (scars), the skin possibly secretes watery, often foul-smelling secretions. Warmth, covering the head, neck, and neck, and warm drinks improve the symptoms. Cold, drafts, loud noises, (mental) overexertion make it worse.
Sodium chloratum: also known as sodium muriaticum, consists of a combination of sodium and chlorine. Application: In the case of acute headache, the trigger for the choice of sodium chloratum plays a major role. The mental exertion in school, perhaps also the fear of being rejected in the community, leads to pounding pains in the forehead in children and adolescents. They come home disgruntled, do not tell what moves them and retreat to their room. The children suffer a lot from cold sores or recurring corners of the mouth rhagades. If the pain extends from the neck over the head to the eyes and there is a great sensitivity to cold in the head, Silicea should be considered for headaches due to mental overwork. A mixture of ambition and a perfectionist sense of order can quickly lead to exhaustion. Sodium chloratum is probably the drug most frequently indicated for cold sores. The focus is on the trigger: disgust (before sharing dinnerware or glasses, in front of public toilets, etc.), intense sun and emotional stress such as rejection, offense or insults. Symptoms improve with: cooling down, fresh, cool air, cold bathing, sweating. Deterioration by: comfort, heat, sun, by the sea, in the morning, mental exertion (after school!).
Belladonna: The deadly nightshade belongs to the nightshade family and is a domestic poisonous plant that grows on humus-rich, somewhat chalky soils. The plant grows up to 150 cm, flowers from June to August, after which the very poisonous, black, cherry-like berries develop. 3-5 berries can already have a deadly toxic effect on children. Typical signs of intoxication are: dilated pupils; dry, hot, and reddened skin; Dry oral mucosa; fast heartbeat, restlessness, fits of rage, unconsciousness. In homeopathy, belladonna is an inflammatory agent, characterized by the early phase of the disease, the sudden onset and rapid development. The strong rush of blood to the diseased organ (reddening and feeling of heat) is typical - often combined with a chill feeling and the need for warmth (covering, enveloping). The trigger is often cold / wetness on the head, excessive exposure to the sun. The patients have a strong feeling of illness with a sudden onset, pulsating pain, sensation of heat, burning. Improvement occurs through warmth. You are irritable, have a hot, red face, but your extremities are cool. Brightness is not good at all. Belladonna can be used for infections with a sudden, severe fever, the early inflammation of various areas in the organism.
Rhus toxicodendron: Poison oak is a climbing plant and is cultivated in many gardens in North America because of the leaves that turn bright red in autumn. The three-part leaves are poisonous. Even light skin contact develops an allergic inflammation with intense itching, swelling and blistering. In homeopathy, the remedy is used for complaints of the musculoskeletal system, i.e. injuries to the joints of ligaments, tendons and muscles due to overexertion and when one has sweated in cold, wet weather. Once you have started moving again, the symptoms ("running in") improve, as does warm / hot applications. Lumbago is a typical disease in which Rhus toxicodendron is used. But also blistering on the skin such as chickenpox, shingles or cold sores are a case for Rhus toxicodendron. Especially when the blisters start itching and burning. The complaints get worse in cold, wet, vigorous exertion and rest. Caution: If the vesicles are small, filled with water and strung like a string of pearls, sodium chloratum is more likely to be indicated. If they dry out quickly and burn heavily, you should switch to Arsenicum album. Since these symptoms can often indicate more serious illnesses, you should consult a doctor or homeopath if the globules do not work after 2 days.
Homeopathy for evacuation: After a sprain, homeopathic medicines are a good way to efficiently support healing. Depending on the phase of the injury and the individual symptoms, different drugs can be considered. In the case of a sprain (distortion), ligaments or joint capsules have been overstretched. Most often this happens on the wrists, knees or ankles, especially the so-called upper ankle joint. Typically there is the greatest swelling and the main point of pain on the outside below and in front of the outer ankle. As a result of the forceful overstretching, the ligaments can also be torn completely or partially. It's very difficult to assess. Since the ankle bears the main burden of the body, rehabilitation of the injury as completely as possible is very important. Nowadays, conservative therapies are mostly preferred to surgery. Relief and support of the joint are in the foreground in order to avoid further overstretching. If the joint is hot and swollen immediately after the injury, Apis is indicated. If the focus is on severe pain and there is hardly any swelling, it is better to use Bryonia. If, as is often the case after 2-3 days, a bruise appears under the ankle that sinks to the edge of the foot, it is time to switch to arnica. If the joint feels stiff after the acute phases have subsided, and if the symptoms are severe in the morning or after periods of rest and are only relieved when moving, you can switch to Rhus toxicodendron, which you then take twice a day for 3-4 weeks.
Bryonia, the bryony. This plant is poisonous! 15 berries can be fatal to children. But the drug is indispensable for the acute treatment of joint inflammation and respiratory infections. Also with dry inflammation of the pleura, lumbago, acute inflammation of tendons and tendon sheaths. The main symptoms in favor of using Bryonia are dryness and worsening of any discomfort from movement or vibration. An inflammation develops, in which the joint capsule, the periosteum and the mucous membranes of the airways are particularly affected. In this respect it is understandable that the patient instinctively wants to avoid any rubbing of the diseased organ structures and seeks (absolute) rest. The painful areas are often held or bandaged. The inflammation of the joints goes hand in hand with no bruising or swelling. A dry cough is usually painful and sits behind the breastbone. The chapped lips are also very dry. The patient likes to lie on the affected part of the body, seeks absolute rest, avoids any movement and quickly drinks large amounts of cold water. Movement, on the other hand, such as laughing, worsen the symptoms. The patient does not want to be disturbed and is easily irritable. Often there is also a change in the voice that becomes deeper than normal. A change in weather from cold to warm is often a characteristic trigger.
The digestive / abdominal cure: Some people have butterflies in their stomachs, others have anger directly on the stomach: there are more than 100 million nerve cells in the intestinal walls. Our “abdominal brain” can react very sensitively. Stress, luxury foods, fatty foods or an imbalance of inhibiting and activating signals. Heartburn, irritable bowel symptoms, constipation, gas and diarrhea, abdominal pain or bloating. More than seven million suffer from it, and every fifth woman's stomach reacts sourly and with belching. With the stomach trio of Schüßler salts, the stomach and intestines can find their way back into a healthy balance. The millions of nerve tracts of the "abdominal brain" notice immediately when we are relaxed again. No.10 Sodium sulfuricum D6 - in the morning - promotes the excretion processes in the cells, excess fluids are expelled from the organism. It works on the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and kidneys. It also stimulates the intestinal peristalsis, which means that the nutrients are transported more quickly, as well as being broken down and used more effectively. No. 9 Sodium phosphoricum D6 -noon- plays an outstanding role as a catalyst, especially in the stomach and intestines, e.g. B. with ailments such as heartburn or over-acidity of the stomach. It has a beneficial effect on the stomach. No. 4 Kalium chloratum D6 -evening-, the "salt of the mucous membranes", soothes diarrhea, but also irritable bowel syndrome or gastric mucosal inflammation. It has a balancing effect on the excitability of nerves and muscles and normalizes the muscles of the digestive tract.
Strong Bones Treatment: The musculoskeletal system is very versatile. We can reach into the strings of a guitar, but we can also climb stairs and lift loads. Our bones work hard. They make up about 10-15% of our body weight. Although they are quite light, they can withstand twice as much pressure as granite and four times the tensile forces as concrete. Statistically, the stability decreases from around 35. In addition to the supply of important vitamins and minerals, you should pay attention to a lot of physical activity. Hike, walk, ride a bike, depending on what you enjoy. Because regeneration is promoted by exercise. Ideally outside in the sun, so that a lot of vitamin D is formed. Without training, the musculoskeletal system becomes more and more rigid. The “Strong Bones Treatment” with Schuessler salts: No. 1 Calicum fluoratum, in the morning helps. This increases the strength and stability of the bones, gives the bone walls hardness and at the same time more elasticity. No. 2 Calcium phosphoricum, noon. This is also in our bones and supports the formation of bone cells there. E.g. it can promote bone growth after a fracture. No. 11 Silicea in the evening. It strengthens the bone substance and the cartilage. It is a central component of the connective tissue with periosteum and ligaments. Here, too, the dosage is three tablets to dissolve under the tongue or dissolve in hot water and drink in sips. A cure should be carried out for at least 4 weeks.
Hay fever treatment: Hay fever is a serious allergic respiratory disease and, if left untreated, turns into asthma in about 50% of cases. Acting in good time is very important, even through self-help even with mild symptoms without a long history. If the immune reaction is disturbed, i.e. too violent, start supporting and normalizing in good time. Try to prevent the onset of asthma. The cure: No. 2 - Calcium phosphoricum, in the morning. The restorative promotes blood formation and cell growth No. 3 - Ferrum phosphoricum, noon. The "first aid agent" increases the performance of the immune system. No. 8 - Sodium chloratum, in the evening. The regulation salt is increasingly needed in the case of constantly watery eyes and a runny nose. The duration of the cure depends on how you feel: two weeks of intensive cure with 5 tablets per salt to prepare for the hay fever period, then reduce to 2-3 tablets per salt. No. 24 Arsenum jodatum can be taken as a support - it reduces the susceptibility to allergies (1 tablet each morning and evening). B. Fine dust and soot particles contribute to the fact that pollen increases in their allergenicity and thus the pollen allergy sufferers from stronger symptoms than before. According to the “Vital extra” magazine, a particularly strong birch pollen count can be expected in even years, which is expected to be in season until the end of May. Top of page
