The honey melon 'Blenheim Orange' is ideal for growing in Central Europe. Even in not too sunny years, the variety reliably produces strongly fragrant fruits. They have the characteristic mesh pattern of many sugar melons,
are slightly oval and weigh just over 1kg. The orange pulp is very sweet.

Blenheim Orange may be more familiar to most people as an apple variety from Oxfordshire, England, but this juicy melon shares the name with the delicious apples. What both old varieties have in common is that they are often grown in traditional Victorian kitchen gardens.
