Pipeline planning for industrial and chemical plants

In the seminar pipeline planning for industrial and chemical plants, four experts present the procedures for the design of a pipeline system, over the installation planning up to the project handling of a plant over two days.

Process engineering pipeline design, applicable technical regulations and strength-related pipeline design are the focus of the first day of the event.

On the second day of the event, the focus of the morning is on installation planning and material management; in the afternoon, the focus is on pipeline construction, its route and management.

The seminar concludes with the project management of a plant as a system and its technical specification.

 

On the subject

Pipelines are used to transport liquids or gases and to transport solids. Due to the different static and dynamic process conditions (pressure, temperature, wear, corrosion), they are exposed to a variety of loads that must be taken into account both in pipeline planning and in pipeline construction within the framework of many regulations.

The seminar deals with product and equipment lines, such as those used in companies in the chemical and plastics industries. Only indirectly treated z. B. long-distance lines, nuclear power plant lines, ventilation ducts.

Goal setting

Engineers and technicians are systematically familiarized with the tasks of pipeline planning based on the analysis of the requirements.

Many examples show how pipeline components and systems for process engineering tasks with the requirements of technical regulations, e.g. B. EC Pressure Equipment Directive or ASME Code, with regard to procedural design, strength, flexibility and installation planning, can be calculated, specified and planned.
