Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)

This voluntary language test, which is organized by the Cambridge Institute in Munich, corresponds to the second highest level (C1) of the common European Framework of Reference for Languages. For comparison: the Bavarian English Abitur corresponds to level B2 +.

 

The CAE is a lifelong language certificate and is used by universities in English-speaking countries as well as internationally operating employers as proof that the graduate has the necessary English skills to be able to survive in a demanding academic and professional environment. Therefore, this offer is aimed primarily at high school students with very good grades in English.

English firsthand

On Wednesday, January 21st we accepted the offer of the organization EF (English First), who conducts language courses and stays in English-speaking countries, is true. Before classes started, the pink double-decker bus rolled into the upper playground and was the main attraction for the students for the rest of the morning. At the same time, students in grades 9-11 had the chance to apply their English skills in interactive lessons with an English teacher.
