    TT-01 gear grinds

    Hello,

    I have a problem with my TT-01.
The gear of the cardan shaft is grinding on the chassis and I can't explain where it is!
I converted the tt-01 to the tuning pinion and am already about 10 hours
driven with it when it suddenly started with grinding.

I would like to thank you for good tips

"I want to play a game!" ... if your Nick is from Saw, he'll write "J", right !?

But on the subject: a CLEAR or CLEAR photo says more than 1000 words ... not necessarily yours! I'll make the assumption that you didn't mount the HZ correctly. Were all bearings - ball bearings and large plastic bearings - installed? Also behind the spur gear in the differential?

    AW: TT-01 gear grinds

I just got my glass ball back from the inspection ...

First of all, make everything really clean!
If the rear drive joint C5 has become a little rounder at the two-edge ... replace it.
If the spur gear driver GB2 is locked ... replace it.
    Change the main gear!
When the bevel pinion GB1 and the crown wheel GB4 are locked ... replace them! When it is closed, there is greater play, as a result of which the cardan shaft is pushed backwards under load, as is the rear drive joint!
Thus the main gear shifts and grinds on the chassis!

If you replace all of the wearing parts as listed, the problem will be resolved.
The gear housing must always be firmly tightened. If the screw holes are torn out and the screws are loose, the same problem arises! The only thing that helps here is a new chassis.
Hopefully you have ball bearings in there ... in the half-shells (chassis), where they sit, you should definitely scrape out the dirt with a fine flat-bladed screwdriver!

I just had this problem myself ... now my chassis is a few grams lighter and all the parts listed above have been replaced.

    AW: TT-01 gear grinds

    Hello

So c5 is made of aluminum and don't think that after 3 weeks it will be round but I'll have a look

    I have gb2 new
    gb1 I have new
    I also have new gb4

and the problem is still but only when I give full throttle right away when I start slowly and get faster and faster then it doesn't happen and ball bearings are also the perfect tuning packet

could it be because of the motor that it has some imbalance and so presses the gear wheel of the shaft against the chassis?

    Kind regards

    yigsaw

ps: yigsaw because nobody has nick because jigsaw 33 or so sounds stupid

I only drive 16T and you can tell that there is regular wear and tear.
If your problem is still there, you have either overlooked something or your chassis is so worn out in the aforementioned areas that you can no longer compensate for the play with new wearing parts.

If the motor can be moved towards the cardan and outwards when installed, the chassis on the motor holder is already worn out, which means that the main gear comes into play. There's not much space between the main gear and the chassis.
