Was Izuna stronger than Itachi
Inhabitants of the fire realm
Izuna Uchiha was the younger brother of Madara Uchiha and all information about him comes solely from the stories of Itachi Uchiha, Hashirama Senju and Tobi.
Outwardly, Izuna Uchiha is said to have been similar to Sasuke Uchiha. He had slightly longer, black, spiky hair that he had tied back in a ponytail. He wore a dark top with a high collar and the Uchiha coat of arms on it. As a child, he wore protective armor.
Not much is known about Izuna's character so far. He is said to have been self-sacrificing and very harmony. He was also loyal to the Uchiha clan and fought for his clan. He looked up at his brother and trained him very hard to hone their skills so that they could win more battles for their clan. He looked up to his brother and seemed a little naive and gullible, so he couldn't believe that Hashirama Senju should be stronger than his brother. According to Tobi's stories, he gave Madara his eyes so that he would become stronger and help his clan to gain new strength. His strength and that of his clan are said to have been so important to him that he killed his best friend to get his Mangekyou Sharingan. It is now known that it is not necessary to kill your best friend in order to receive the Mangekyou Sharingan. So it is unknown how Izuna got this Sharingan, but he must have experienced something very painful for it.
Relationship with his brother
He had a very good relationship with his brother. He respected him and looked up at him. At the same time, he admired its strength and could not believe that Hashirama Senju should be stronger than him. The two trained together for their clan and thus became the strongest of their clan. He was extremely important to his brother as he was the only survivor of his siblings. Madara definitely wanted to protect Izuna and build a village together with Hashirama in which he could better protect his little brother.
Izuna Uchiha lived in the era of the warring states, in which the individual clans were constantly fighting each other. Even children had to go into battle as shinobi and many lost their lives in the process. So Izuna lost all of his siblings, except for his big brother, Madara Uchiha.
Fight on the river
One day, Izuna's and Madara's father, Tajima Uchiha, found out that Madara often met a boy from the feuding Senju clan. He now commissioned Madara to spy on Hashirama and thus also the Senju clan. The next time Madara met with Hashirama, Tajima and Izuna followed him to make sure Madara was sticking to the plan. But Madara revealed the trap to Hashirama so that he could escape. Now Tajima and Izuna came out of their hiding place to pursue Hashirama. But at the same time Butsuma Senju and Tobirama Senju came out of their hiding place. A fight ensued, with Tajima and Butsuma clashing and Izuna fighting Tobirama. Since the two fathers were aware that they were equally strong and only whoever kept control could win, the two attacked each other's sons. If one of the fathers had to watch one of his sons die fighting, they could lose control and thus lose the fight. But at that moment Madara and Hashirama intervened and protected their younger brothers. Now it was a three-on-three fight, but Madara knew that Hashirama was stronger than him and therefore they would lose. Izuna couldn't believe that there is anyone who should be stronger than his big brother.
Izuna and his older brother Madara were born into the famous Uchiha clan. They were both very talented and had their Sharingan under control very early on. Both were equally strong, always wanted to get better and trained very hard to improve their skills.
In the end, they both received the Mangekyou Sharingan. How Izuna received the Mangekyou Sharingan is currently unknown. It was a tough time of ongoing battles against other clans, and especially the battles against the Senju clan forced Izuna and Madara to use their Mangekyou Sharingans more and more frequently. The consequence of this was that Madara's eyesight in particular got worse and worse and he became almost completely blind.
After a few years, Izuna's father died and Madara became the leader of the Uchiha clan. Hashirama, who now led the Senju clan, sent the Uchiha clan an offer of peace, but Izuna advised his brother not to accept it and Madara continued to lead the Uchiha into numerous battles. There was another fight between the Uchiha and the Senju, and this time Izuna fought Tobirama Senju. He used the Hiraishin Giri and managed to seriously injure Izuna. Madara came to the aid of his younger brother and together they fled. Izuna died a short time later from the injury Tobirama inflicted on him.
There are two different stories about the loss of his eyes: Itachi Uchiha claims that Madara was so desperate that he forcibly took Izuna's eyes and had them implanted, creating an entirely new Mangekyou Sharingan that no longer had the side effects of a normal had. Tobi, on the other hand, claims that Izuna had offered his brother to take his eyes off, so that his eyesight would return completely and the strength of the clan would be preserved.
Hashirama said that Madara loved his younger brother very much and had a hard time coping with his death, so it is more likely that Izuna passed his eyes on to Madara shortly before his death so that he can win against the Senju clan.
Techniques and special skills
Izuna Uchiha lived in the era of the warring states and is said to have been one of the strongest Uchihas at that time. In his childhood he had to fight enemy Shinobis every day. For this he trained every day with his brother Madara and together they got stronger and stronger, so that Izuna should have been almost as strong as Madara. He is also said to have been a rival of Tobirama Senju.
As a member of the Uchihas clan, he ruled the Kekkei Genkai of his clan, the Sharingan. At an unknown point in time, like his brother, he awoke the Mangekyou Sharingan. It is not known how he got it, nor what skills he mastered with this Sharingan. Since Izuna has not yet shown a fight, it is unknown which Jutsus he mastered, but since he belonged to the Uchiha, it can be assumed that he mastered the element Katon. He could also do ken jutsu, but it is not known what abilities he possessed with it.
