If you don't want your iPhone to respond to voice commands, you can just turn this feature off. Either you switch off the voice control completely or you deactivate it for the lock screen. You can use this to prevent unauthorized persons from bypassing the lock code with a voice command or from accidentally activating Siri in your pocket.

Brief instructions: Completely deactivate voice control

  1. Open the Settings and tap "Siri & Search".
  2. Deactivate Siri by sliding the switch behind "Press the Home button for Siri" on "Out"set and with"Deactivate Siri" to confirm.
  3. Go back to the settings and now tap on "Generally" > "Accessibility" > "Home button"and tap under"Press and hold to talk" on "Out".
