What's in vegan calamari

Vegan breaded calamari with parsley potatoes

Ingredients for 2-3 people

  • 1 pack of vegan squid rings (e.g. from Formosa)
  • 100 ml unsweetened soy milk
  • 1 tbsp MyEy VollEy
  • Spelled flour
  • Whole grain breadcrumbs
  • ½ kg of potatoes
  • olive oil
  • Chopped parsley
  • Salt pepper

Parsley potatoes

  1. Boil the potatoes until soft and then peel them (or the other way around),
  2. Toss in a pan with a little olive oil and parsley.
  3. Salt and pepper

Vegan calamari

  1. Thaw wrapped, frozen calamari in a water bath.
  2. Prepare three plates: one plate with spelled flour. In the second plate, mix the EyGelb, Soyamlich well and season with salt and pepper. Third plate with breadcrumbs.
  3. Turn the vegan squid rings in the spelled flour.
  4. Then immerse in the second plate (MyEy / Sojamlich).
  5. Then turn in the organic breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry until golden brown in a pan.
  7. Serve immediately with the parsley potatoes.
  8. Good Appetite!
